CMHA was established in December of 1933 under the provisions of the Ohio Housing Authority Law. CMHA provides quality, affordable housing for low- to moderate-income families. CMHA serves nearly 5,200 Public Housing households in neighborhoods throughout Hamilton County. In addition, the Housing Choice Voucher Program provides affordable housing options for 11,300 families. Most residents served by CMHA are elderly and working families.
CMHA consistently receives designation as a high performing agency from the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
