CMHA was established in December of 1933 under the provisions of the Ohio Housing Authority Law.  CMHA provides quality, affordable housing for low- to moderate-income families. CMHA serves nearly 5,200 Public Housing households in neighborhoods throughout Hamilton County.  In addition, the Housing Choice Voucher Program provides affordable housing options for 10,600 families. Most residents served by CMHA are elderly and working families.

CMHA consistently receives designation as a high performing agency from the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

CMHA's Board of Commissioners meetings are held the third Tuesday of every month at 1635 Western Avenue in the Crosley Commons Auditorium beginning at 6:00p.m.

To make a request to speak at a CMHA Board of Commissioners Meeting, individuals have to:

1.   Submit a written request to speak to CMHA’s Executive Office at 16 West Central Parkway or a CMHA
property management office at least 48 hours in advance of the meeting.

2.  The request must include the topic for discussion.

3.  Speakers are given three minutes to address the Board.
