COMMUNITY PARTNERS

Workforce development services help individuals connect to the job market, develop work-related skills, sustain employment, and advance in the labor market -- valuable services for low-income job seekers and working families. And, increasiingly, workforce development programs are striving to help businesses with their workforce needs. CMHA Resident Services are made possible because of our emphasis on service coordination, collaboration and partnership. The following are examples of how we are connecting residents with necessary services.

Findlay Market SNAP Plus Program

The SNAP Plus program encourages participants of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program to attend cooking demonstrations and nutrition classes. In return, they can receive up to $110 worth of food vouchers, good for fresh, locally grown produce from the Findlay's farmer's market.
