Proejct-based Section 8 properties are subsidized by HUD and operated by private owners/agents. Housing vouchers are tied to the units instead of the tenants, as is the case with
the Housing Choice Voucher Program. Some properties have waiting lists, while others have immediate openings. There are several properties in the area that serve low-income individuals, families, seniors, and/or people with disabilities. To apply, contact the management office of the property.
